Bengal pacer Ashok Dinda [ Images ], who was added as cover for injured Umesh Yadav before the Mumbai Test, was retained.
The selectors, who met in Mumbai on Tuesday, also retained off-spinner Harbhajan Singh [ Images ] despite a below-par showing in Mumbai and refused to be swayed by calls to rest batting ace Sachin Tendulkar [ Images ], who aggregated just 63 runs in two Tests against New Zealand [ Images ] in the previous series, and underperformed in the first two Tests against England, scoring of 13, 8 and 8 in the three innings he was required to bat.
