Dutch newspapers were as surprised as the Twenty20 World Cup hosts by their team's upset win over England in the opening game of the tournament at Lord's on Friday.

"Cricket is no longer so boring," said a headline in the national daily NRC Handelsblad. "The Dutch cricketers at Twenty20... beat hosts Englandto deliver a sensational opening game."
SeveralSaturday papers gleefully covered the reaction by "furious English newspapers".
"First was surprise on the faces of the English at Lord's, then bewilderment," said the Rotterdam daily Algemeen Dagblad.
"Thebeautiful stadium was filled...with the bright orange of the Dutch fans who had much to cheer about."
