The BCCI will hold its adjourned Annual General Meeting tomorrow in keeping with a Supreme Court directive even though legal matters pending before the judiciary stand in the way of transacting business on the unfinished agenda.
"As matters stand now, the AGM will be called to order and declared concluded so as to facilitate the new set of office-bearers to take charge," top BCCI sources said.
"However, everything will depend on the status of the court cases when the AGM convenes," the sources said.

The two items on the agenda related to confirmation of the minutes of BCCI's Special General Meeting (SGM) on September 12 last year and representation of the Board at the International Cricket Council, Asian Cricket Council and other international bodies.
The Chennai SGM had decided to appoint outgoing president Jagmohan Dalmiya as the Patron-in-Chief for three years with authority to represent the Board at all international forums. The appointment needed to be ratified by the AGM.
However, with the stay still on, the AGM is unlikely to take a final decision on the two items.
In view of this, the meeting scheduled to begin at 11 am at a South Kolkata five-star hotel becomes only a technical formality and its sole purpose is to complete the AGM.
This would enable Ranbir Singh Mahendra, who became the President after defeating political heavyweight Sharad Pawar by one vote during an acrimonious election, to take over the reins formally along with his new team.
The BCCI bosses may also utilise tomorrow's meet to complete the process of inducting members into the various committees which were set up on September 30.
Though all the Standing Committees were formed after the elections, none of the members have been inducted into any committee so far due to the stalemate resulting from the court cases which followed the AGM.
While D C Agashe, who was barred from voting during the September 29 elections as representative of Maharashtra Cricket Association, knocked on the doors of the court, the Netaji Cricket Club also questioned the legal validity of the elections.
The decks were finally cleared for convening the AGM after the Supreme Court earlier this month directed the Cricket Board to take urgent measures to put in place the elected team headed by Mahendra, but disappointed Dalmiya by quoting a Chennai Court's stay order on the Board's invitation to him to become its Patron-in-Chief.
"The AGM should conclude its proceedings even if it cannot transact business on the agenda pertaining to nomination of Dalmiya as the Patron-in-Chief and his nomination as the representative of BCCI to ICC," the Court order had said.
The apex court has also left open the issue of the legality of the elections in which Mahendra defeated Pawar by the slenderest of margins, thanks to the casting vote of Dalmiya in favour of the new President.
The September AGM also saw S K Nair and Jyoti Bajpai retain the posts of Secretary and Treasurer respectively, while Goutam Dasgupta became the new joint secretary.
