Bangladesh coach Jamie Siddons was seething with anger after witnessing his team lose to Ireland and get knocked out of the ICC World Twenty20 in Nottingham, on Monday.
"We didn't make anywhere near enough runs, the par score there against any attack is 170. It's a flat wicket, fast outfield, short boundary on one side. Again there were some stupid mental errors by our batsmen. It was ridiculous batting," said an angry Siddons after his side lost to Ireland by six wickets with 1.4 overs to spare.
And the Aussie didn't just stop at as he pointed several problems in the team including indiscipline which is causing the team to lose ground in international cricket.
"Our boys, they get it their way a lot, they don't tend to listen too well. It's time some pressure is put on them to listen. From the captain down, if they don't want to listen, well we have got to move on. It is as simple as they need to listen right from getting to the bus on time you know they do it their own way a bit. We've come a long, long way but we need to come a lot further," he fumed.

"The opening batsmen have to be aggressive but we knew they bowled good slower balls early in the innings. It just went right through, the run out of Tamim Iqbal, he's got out that way around four times this tour. Shakib-Al-Hasan has got out that way around five times this tour -- same shot, same spot. They are just mental errors; their skill level is as good as anyone's. I'm borderline disappointed and angry. I'm not sure which way to treat them when I speak to them in a minute."
Even the captain Mohammad Ashraful was guilty of not learning from his previous mistakes, the coach pointed out.
"There's nothing we can do if they're going to keep making mental errors like that, the same mistakes over and over. We train for it, we talk about it; we do everything we can. Even Ash made the same mistake, he hit the ball to the bloke the over before and went and did it again, said: "catch me this time". Five, six, maybe seven batsmen got out to ridiculous shots," Siddons said.
