Delhi and Karnataka collected a point each after overnight rain and persistent drizzle forced play to be abandoned in their Ranji Trophy Super League Group A encounter, at the M Chinnaswamy stadium, in Bangalore on Thursday.

The umpires made several inspections of the pitch before calling off the day's play at 1500 IST.

Rain played havoc as not even a single delivery was bowled during the last two days.

Karnataka were yet to open their account in reply to Delhi's first innings massive score of 538, as they faced just one delivery in their first essay.
