Rain played spoilsport on the third day of the four-day Ranji Trophy Super League Group A encounter between Delhi and Karnataka at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore on Wednesday, as not even a single delivery was bowled.

Play was formally called off at 1425 IST.

Delhi scored 538 in their first innings.

At stumps on Tuesday, Karnataka were yet to open the account, having faced only one delivery. Because of bad light, only 63 overs could be bowled on Day 2.
