Sports scientist Ian Frazer will continue to assist Indian cricket coach Greg Chappell with the Board of Control for Cricket in India not considering any move to replace the expert.

"Frazer will continue to join the team from time to time. We are not thinking of replacing him," a BCCI source said in Kolkata.

The source said Chappell wanted to work with a team of support staff which the Board had given him.

"There has been no change in the BCCI's position since then," the source said.

The board has also decided to appoint a media manager.

"However, he will not be from the media community," he said.
