Kiwis complete Bangladesh whitewash November 07, 2004 21:39 IST Captain Daniel Vettori took three for 25 on Sunday to help New Zealand beat Bangladesh by 83 runs in the third and final one-day international. New Zealand wrapped up the series 3-0 after the home side's batsmen could muster only 167 for seven from their 50 overs on a slow pitch. Bangladesh left-arm spinner Mohammad Rafique earlier took four wickets in New Zealand's total of 250 for seven. The touring side started their innings brightly with opener Mathew Sinclair following up his half century in the previous match with a useful 66 before he was caught-and-bowled by Rafique. Rafique had already dismissed Hamish Marshall for a duck and went on to snare Craig McMillan (39) and Scott Styris (51) before Chris Cairns hit 34 off 16 balls to help New Zealand to a respectable score.
