As the 2007 World Cup goes into a break, it's interesting to see who is having a good World Cup so far... and who is not.
Here's the list of the most valuable players in this World Cup so far: to offer "value", batsmen must score a lot of runs, and score them quickly; bowlers must take a lot of wickets, and at a good economy rate, and fielders must take catches and effect run outs.
The list below is sorted based on the total MVP points. Note that the total depends on the number of matches; so while Jayasuriya has the largest number of points (578.2), he also had the advantage of having played one match more than Styris or Hayden.
