Paul di Resta brought his VJM06 home in eighth place, earning Sahara Force India four points, but misfortune struck Adrian Sutil as he was forced to retire after being hit from the back by Esteban Gutierrez during the Chinese Grand Prix, in Shanghai on Sunday.
Sahara Force India driver Paul di Resta drove the new brand VJM06 for the second time and managed the fourth-fastest time on the second day of the pre-season testing in Jerez.
A minor issue in his car prevented Paul di Resta from doing the desired number of laps but the Sahara Force India driver said they have collected good information on the tyres on the second day of the pre-season winter testing in Barcelona.
