Tata Motors on Wednesday launched a new version of its multi utility vehicle - Sumo Grande -- priced between Rs 6.55 lakh and 7.49 lakh (Rs 655,000 and Rs 749,000), ex-showroom Delhi.
Due to rising input costs, Tata Motors on Saturday raised prices of its passenger and commercial vehicles by Rs 3,000-30,000 with immediate effect.
The company, however, did not say when it plans to commercially launch Aria.
Utility segment at present constitutes 17-18 per cent of the total car market in the country.
