Sanjana Abraham, elder sister of jailed fashion designer Anand Jon, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to either five days in jail or to do 120 hours of community service for contempt of court.
After designer Anand Jon's sentencing on Monday, the focus shifts to his sister Sanjana Abraham and a juror named Alvin Dymally, both of whom face contempt of court charges. The duo will face a trial in a few weeks. Judge David Wesley said they violated a court order by speaking to each other.
