The Bombay high court on Wednesday upheld the conviction of two persons accused of kidnapping, raping and murdering a 22-year-old BPO employee in Pune in 2007.
A local court on Tuesday awarded death sentence to two persons in the rape and murder case of a 22-year-old BPO employee that rocked the city and send shock waves in the IT establishments.
"We find that there has been undue and unexplained delay by both the state and Central government in processing the mercy petitions," the court said.
