Indian authorities have requested the US State Department to address the concerns of an Indian couple, who have been given limited access to their one-year-old son after he underwent surgery for brain injury and are facing criminal probe for failing to take proper care of him.
An Indian couple, who have been caught in a legal battle in the United States over the custody of their one-year-old son, have been granted permission by a New Jersey court to meet the child once a week, with the next hearing in the case scheduled for November 1. Debashish Saha, 28, and Pamela Saha, 25, were denied custody of their son Indrashish after he sustained serious head injuries at his home in August.
