The National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE), on Saturday protested against the filmstar who was shown on television smoking during an IPL match against Kings XI Punjab in Durban, on April 21.
The Bombay High Court today admitted a petition against Amitabh Bachchan for allegedly violating anti-tobacco laws in Goa.
The actor was issued a legal notice by an NGO for smoking in public during the two recent events -- the Twenty20 cricket match in Mumbai and Hindustan Times Summit in Delhi.
'I do not drink nor smoke,' the superstar clarifies to an anti-tobacco group.
