Amid speculation of a rift between Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble, former captain Sunil Gavaskar said it is impossible for a captain and coach to always be on the same page on all cricketing issues.
In the wake of Kumble's resignation though, the BCCI had specifically instructed Cricket Club of India (CCI)'s Malhotra to report any incident of discord between Kohli and Kumble when the team was in England.
As Team India begins its campaign in the Champions Trophy, many await the outcome of the Virat Kohli-Anil Kumble tangle.
