Pakistan on Wednesday cut off access to social networking site Facebook following a court's order to block the popular social networking website over a page featuring blasphemous caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed.
A Pakistani court directed authorities to temporarily block Facebook till May 31 on Wednesday over the holding of a competition on blasphemous caricatures of Prophet Mohammed as protests against the social networking website were held across the country.
