Taiwanese cellphone maker HTC Corp has filed a complaint against technology giant Apple Inc with the US International Trade Commission (ITC), seeking a ban on the sale of the iPhone, iPad and iPod in the US.
HTC Corporation, the leading makers of Windows-enabled smartphones, will launch a mobile device in the sub-Rs 10,000 range to address the lower end of the smartphone segment.The HTC smartphones are now available at price points of Rs 11,500 to Rs 34,000, which is competitive to those manufactured by firms like Blackberry and Nokia.
