In a conversation with rediff.com late on Wednesday evening, former President of the Indian Hockey Federation who was reinstated as the President of Indian hockey by court, said that a criminal case should be filed against the coach.
Indian Olympic Association President Suresh Kalmadi on Tuesday denounced former Indian Hockey Federation chief KPS Gill's move to convene an executive committee meeting of the disbanded body, calling it illegal. Reacting to the news that Gill has convened a meeting on Friday, Kalmadi said the move defied logic.
Ten former captains of India's Olympic hockey teams were felicitated with a citation and a purse of Rs 100,000 each.
