Youth activist held for FB post on cyclone Hudhud

A Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party activist was on Wednesday arrested for allegedly posting 'irresponsible' comments on the social networking site Facebook regarding cyclone Hudhud which hit the North Andhra Pradesh coast earlier this month.

The Andhra Pradesh Police on Tuesday stepped up security across the state saying they were well prepared to maintain law and order particularly in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions in the wake of the decision to create separate Telangana.
