Indian animation and gaming training institutes are gearing to scale up their businesses and open up new avenues for professionals who are passionate about animation and gaming technologies.
Entertainment, Dhruva will be working with the company to produce games that could be marketed both in local and international markets. The company will also introduce the use of motion-sensing technology, made popular by Nintendo Wii, to PS2 game developers this year.
Hyderabad-based DQ Entertainment (DQE) has become the first Indian animation company to tap London's AIM to raise $56 million (around Rs 225 crore). The company successfully placed 19,727,961 new ordinary shares priced at 1.36 a share. DQE will have a market capitalisation of 48.9 million pounds on admission.
