The Rajasthan government on Friday night announced a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into the community clash in Bharatpur's Gopalgarh village which left eight people dead.
The situation in Bharatpur, Rajasthan remained tense but under control on Thursday, a day after the district witnessed violent clashes between two communities over a land dispute that left three persons dead and 13 others injured. Curfew remained in force in six police station areas of the district where additional forces have been deployed. "The curfew will be relaxed after a review of the law and order situation," said District Collector Krishna Kunal.
