Dell has launched the 5-inch Dell Streak, a tablet-cum-phone at Rs 35,000, which will become one of the biggest phones in the country.
Dell on Tuesday announced the launch of its smartphone-tablet device 'Dell Streak' in India, in association with Qualcomm and Tata DOCOMO.
Big -- that's how you would summarise Samsung Galaxy Note, the latest smartphone that claims to be a tablet too. The question that needs to be answered is why there is a buzz about the Samsung Galaxy Note, when the Dell Streak 5 too tried the same thing and pretty much collapsed in the process.
After taking leadership in the personal computer space in India, Dell now wants a piece of the market for smart phones.
In the next couple of years it will be a world where all the content lies online. All of us need to prepare ourselves for the time when newspapers will only survive online.
Named the XCD28 and XCD35 they are priced at Rs 10,990 and Rs 16,990 respectively.
