Indian-American Srikanth Srinivasan Thursday scripted history after he was confirmed as the first South Asian judge to America's second highest court.
President Barack Obama last week appointed Srinija Srinivasan, one of the three co-founders of Yahoo! Inc, as a member of the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars.
Obama is likely to choose either "trailblazer" Srinivasan or Merrick Garland as his pick for the Supreme Court nominee and could announce his decision early Thursday morning (IST).
