The Shiv Sena and the Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday announced that they have reached a seat-sharing agreement for the October 13 Maharashtra assembly elections.
The new faces include Abhijit Adsul from Daryapur. Abhijit is the son of party MP from Amravati Anandrao Adsul.
Maharashtra state Opposition the Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party announced that they would retain the seat-sharing formula of the 2004 Assembly elections for the October 13 polls -- the Sena contesting from 169 seats and BJP from 119 seats.
