The BJP's attempt was to show that it would be a different ballgame altogether in the civic and zilla parishad polls scheduled in the next few months, which were no less than a mini-general election in the state, sources said.
All those who have left Sena should return: Bal Thackeray.
"If I get a proposal from the Congress, I will consider," he told reporters in Ajmer. He added that Gandhi was competent to lead the country.

Sena legislators went to meet Raj at his Dadar residence after the meeting, but he had already left for some function.
