Senior Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party leader Harsh Vardhan's sister was tricked into having several sleeping pills, allegedly by her daughter-in-law, and abandoned outside AIIMS in an unconscious state, police said on Tuesday. Reena, 28, was arrested recently following investigations into a missing person report filed by Asha Singhal herself on August 24, a senior police official said. Reena is married to Parag Singhal, Asha's son.
'Since we have to stop the pandemic, we have to use the vaccines now and that is why the emergency-use approval is justifiable.'
Addressing a press conference, NITI Aayog member (Health) V K Paul said concerns about adverse effects and serious problems post immunisation, as of now, seem to be unfounded, negligible and insignificant, and stressed that both the vaccines -- Covishield and Covaxin -- are safe.
