The manufacturer of Bell helicopters has offered its assistance to authorities in probing the crash of the Bell-430 chopper which claimed the lives of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajashekhar Reddy and four others.

A joint team of Directorate General of Civil Aviation officials and the police on Friday located the Flight Voice Recorder of the helicopter that crashed killing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajashekhar Reddy, laying their hands on a piece of evidence that may throw some light on the incident.
Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Rajashekhar Reddy, who is in Karnataka to campaign for the Congress in several parts of the state, said that Karnataka was always ahead of Andhra Pradesh when the Congress ruled Karnataka. However, he said, Andhra Pradesh is way ahead today and thanks to the instability that prevailed in Karnataka since the past two years.
