A 45-year-old anaesthetist, Dr. Kiran Honnannavar, was found stabbed to death in his Dharwad apartment, with his eight-year-old son also sustaining serious stab injuries. Police have taken his wife, Dr. Priya, into custody for questioning, suspecting a domestic dispute. A murder case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.
The Nottinghamshire police said Valdo Calocane has also been charged with three counts of attempted murder of three victims injured in the attack and will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Saturday.
