Investigation into the Mumbai BEST bus accident suggests human error as the cause, with the vehicle appearing mechanically sound. The accident resulted in four fatalities and several injuries.
The Mumbai Regional Transport Office (RTO) officials have said they suspect 'human error' and 'lack of proper training' led to the horrific accident in Kurla where a Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus fatally knocked down seven persons and injured 42 others.
The accident took place around 9.15am, when nine members of the Gujarat-based family were headed to Mumbadevi temple in south Mumbai in a taxi.
