NASA's Pluto experts have revealed new high resolution close up images of the surface of Pluto -- and admit they are stunned by the planet.
The image was obtained at a high phase angle -- that is, with the sun on the other side of Pluto, as viewed by New Horizons.
A preliminary analysis of the image shows two distinct layers of haze.
