Pakistani authorities have suspended three senior prison officials over the fatal attack on Indian national Sarabjit Singh inside a jail in Lahore, a week after the brutal incident. The home secretary of Punjab province suspended the three officials from service on Friday for alleged negligence that led to the brutal attack on Sarabjit within Kot Lakhpat Jail.
After Pakistani Parliament unanimously adopted a resolution condemning the "blasphemous caricatures" published in French weekly satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, dozens marched against the publication in Lahore.
Senior police officers were among 13 people killed on Monday when a Taliban suicide bomber blew himself up targeting them during a protest rally outside Pakistan's Punjab assembly in Lahore that also wounded 60 others.
Thirteen people were killed and over 70 others injured in the suicide blast which had targeted police officials.
