Top Republican leader and current Governor of Louisiana Bobby Jindal is planning to run for president in 2016, a top United States Senator from his home state has said.
Two Indian diplomats -- Consul KP Pillai from the Consulate General of India, Houston, and First Secretary Alok Pandey from the Indian embassy in Washington, were in Baton Rouge to provide assistance to the families and friends of the deceased students.
Rajaiah said his first reaction after getting the news from his relative in California was of disbelief as he had spoken to his son, who was pursuing a PhD in the American university, only hours before that.
