Justice Usha Mehra Commission has rapped the Delhi Police and the city transport department, saying lack of coordination between them allowed the bus used in December 16 gang rape case to ply uninterrupted despite being fined many times.
The Justice Usha Mehra Panel, which has been constituted to review responses to the December 16 gang rape case, will receive public opinions and suggestions till January 18.
A one-member panel is being set up to investigate "lapses" by police in connection with the gangrape of a 23-year-old student in the national capital.
