Delhi BJP MLA escapes assassination attempt

An unidentified gunman opened fire at Bharatiya Janata Party legislator from Shahdara, Jeetendra Singh Shunty, outside his house in east Delhi's Vivek Vihar area early Wednesday morning, police said.
