The Kolkata Knight Riders have launched a first-of-its-kind Trophy Tour, bringing the IPL trophy to fans nationwide.
Jharkhand Police on Tuesday said they had found the decapitated body of kidnapped police inspector Francis Enduwar. Deputy Inspector General of Police (Jharkhand Range) R K Malik, said that Enduwar's headless body was found at around 9.15 am on the Jamshedpur-Ranchi highway with a note from the Naxals saying that they could expect more of the same treatment if their demands were not acceded to.
'Isn't it obvious that the BJP government in Jharkand and its police force care two hoots about the Supreme Court's orders?', asks Jyoti Punwani.
'The prime minister has merely paid lip service condemning these crimes instead of launching a massive crackdown against such brutalities,' argues Professor Mohammad Sajjad.
