Indian Davis Cupper Prakash Amritraj continued his sizzling form to storm into the quarter-finals of the US $ 75000 ATP Challenger tournament in Aptos after posting a convincing straight sets win. Prakash, who had knocked out top seed Amer Delic in the first round, beat American wild card Phillip Simmonds 6-4, 6-2 in the second round.

Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani partner Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi crashed out of the euro 42,500 ATP Challenger series tournament in Aachen, Germany, after losing a tough quarter-final to the German pair of Andreas Beck and Philipp Petzschner.
