The SIT has been investigating the case involving allegations of multiple burials, murders and rapes in Dharmasthala, which has drawn wide public and political attention.
Kusumavati, mother of Sowjanya, who was allegedly raped and murdered more than a decade ago, submitted a fresh complaint to the SIT probing allegations of multiple rapes, murders and burials in Dharmasthala.
The complainant-witness, a former sanitation worker, has claimed that he worked in Dharmasthala between 1995 and 2014, and that he was forced to bury a number of bodies, including those of women and minors, in Dharmasthala.
He said digitisation was aimed at bringing in accountability and added that more cash would bring with it social evils.
