Pakistani troops on Tuesday violated the ceasefire again as they targetted Indian posts along the Line of Control in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian and Pakistani troops on Saturday night traded heavy gunfire along the Line of Control in Poonch sector after the movement of a group of suspected infiltrators was detected. "There was a movement of six to seven people close to LoC opposite Krisha Ghati sub-sector in Poonch at around 9.45 pm," said Defence Spokesman Colonel R K Palta.
In seventh ceasefire violation this month, Pakistani troops fired at several Indian posts along the border in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire thrice on Saturday along the Line of Control when they opened indiscriminate firing in Poonch and Rajouri sectors, leaving a child injured.
