Australia have called up fast bowler Brett Geeves to cover for the injured Doug Bollinger on their tour of South Africa, Cricket Australia (CA) said on Sunday.
Fast bowler Brett Geeves was named as backup for injured Peter Siddle for Australia's third Test against the West Indies starting in Perth on Wednesday.
Uncapped Ben Laughlin was on Thursday included in the Australian squad and all-rounder Brett Geeves was rewarded for his performance against Bangladesh as the National Selection Panel announced teams for two Twenty20 and five One-Day Internationals against South Africa. Laughlin and Geeves will replace Ben Hilfenhaus and Peter Siddle, who are being rested from the South African one-day series as part of their workload management.
