Virtually driven against the wall following indictment by Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta Justice N K Mehrotra, state animal husbandry and dairy development minister Avadhpal Singh Yadav on Wednesday put in his papers, an official spokesman said in Lucknow.
A local court on Saturday directed the police to register a case of murder against Uttar Prasdesh dairy development minister Avadhpal Singh Yadav.
They were both carrying a cash reward of Rs 5,000 each for their arrest.
