Assam governor dismisses reports about resignation

Assam Governor Syed Sibtey Razi on Tuesday dismissed as 'absolutely false' reports that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has asked him to resign from the post, in the wake of raids on two of his former aides, who had worked for him while he was the Governor of Jharkhand. He asserted that he would complete his full term in office.Sources in the Prime Minister's Office also termed the media reports as 'totally untrue'. "It is all false. There is no allegation," he said.
