The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court has dismissed a public interest litigation seeking a CBI probe into alleged expenses of about Rs 200 crore, including the Rs 5 crore garland worn by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati during a recent BSP rally.
Justice Amitava Lala who passed the order had spent hours waiting in a traffic snarl caused by a rally.
