The US Congress has called for restraint or perhaps even a "return" of some of the profits announced by oil giants, in order to help low-income groups to meet the heating oil bills this winter.
The Senate Judiciary Committee has voted in favour of raising the H1B visa limit from 65,000 to 95,000.

Had the US Senate plan been cleared, it would have increased the H1-B visas by 30,000 annually.
