New Zealand's Suzie Bates played one of the greatest innings in women's One-Day Internationals history, completely overshadowing a maiden century by captain Haidee Tiffen, as she destroyed Pakistan on Thursday with an awesome batting display that set up a final date with England in the ICC Women's World Cup 2009. Bates, the 21-year-old from Dunedin, belted six sixes and 19 fours in a swashbuckling 168 which came off just 105 balls.
Star medium-pacer Jhulan Goswami said India will look to get maximum points during the limited-overs series against New Zealand in their quest to qualify for the 2017 women's World Cup.
Jaya Sharma scored 60 off 89 balls as India beat the world champions by five wickets.
