Jillu Yadav, a police constable attached to the Railway Protection Force, was among the 26/11 heroes and survivors invited to meet President Obama at the Taj Mahal hotel.
Yadav, who combated terrorists armed with AK-47s with a vintage .303 rifle, was on Saturday felicitated and rewarded with Rs 10 lakh by Railways Minister Lalu Prasad at the RPF Investiture Parade.
'There is something called duty. I had to keep the respect of my uniform. Looking after the public is our duty. That was what I was doing,' says Jillu Yadav.
