In a major setback to the Bellary faction of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Karnataka high court on Monday set aside the election of member of Parliament J Shantha, the sister of former member of Legislative Assembly B Sriramulu.
The Bharatiya Janata Party central leadership, which had issued show cause notices to two of its MPs in Karnataka, has now suspended them.
