Santosh had a near-fatal accident during the 2013 Abu Dhabi desert challenge, suffering burns to his neck after his Suzuki MX450X caught fire.
Rodrigues is now placed 11th and Buhler 16th place in the overall standings after 10 stages.
The 37-year-old Santosh, who was representing the two-wheeler manufacturing giant in one of the world's biggest rallies, suffered the crash last Wednesday and was airlifted to a hospital in Jeddah.
