Mohammad Basheer Abdul Khadar, from Kerala has won a million dollars in lottery, just six days after miraculously surviving the accident.
The United Arab Emirates' General Civil Aviation Authority, which is probing the incident, said the work was underway to recover the flight data and cockpit voice recorders, also known as "black boxes", that will be analysed at its facility in Abu Dhabi.
"We can confirm that there are no fatalities among our passengers and crew. All passengers and crew are accounted for and safe," the airlines said in statement.
