Ford India launched the premium action sports utility vehicle, which is equipped with a 2.5 litre duratorq engine and is available as 4x2 wheel drive and 4x4 wheel drive variants at the cost of Rs 14,72,000 ($36,058).
The diesel variant of the new Ikon would come with a 1.4 litre DuraTorq TDCi engine, while the petrol variant would be available with a 1.3 litre RoCam engine. The company would launch a new small car in India in 2010.
